Supplies needed:
Scrapkit of choice - I used my own PTU kit “Blue Dreams”. If you’re interested in purchasing the kit, visit Digital Chaos.
Scraps needed: 2 papers, frame, glitter, butterfly or other accent
Tube or Image of choice – I am using an awesome tube by Katerina Koukiotis, http://www.katerinaart.com/. I purchased her art when she was with DSI. Do not use her work unless you have purchased the right to do so.
Font of choice – I am using “American Writer”, but you can use any font you like.
Mask of choice – I am using BabesDesignz_Mask7 (Sorry, her blog has been removed, so not sure where to get this mask if you don’t have it.)
Plugin – Xero: Porcelain & Xero: Radiance (Free to Use)
DSB Flux: Bright Noise (Free to Use) – only needed if you animate
Eye Candy 3.1: Glow (Free to Use).

This tutorial is written using PSP X2, but should be easy to do on other versions. It is written assuming you have a general working knowledge of PSP.
Let’s get started!
First, open a new canvas 500 x 250.
If you’re going to animate, flood fill white (or whatever color your forum uses, I used #dbe2b6 for The Zone)
Open Paper38, resize 60%, copy and paste it onto your canvas.
Apply BabesDesignz_Mask7, merge group.
Open Paper37, resize 60%, copy and paste onto your canvas. Set the blend mode to Color.
Open Frame46, rotate all layers 90 degrees to the right, resize 69%, copy and paste it onto your canvas. Move it a little to the left (Mine’s in Position X: 44, Position Y: 10)
Activate your magic wand tool (tolerance & feather set to 0), click inside your frame.
Selections>Modify>Expand by 6. Selections>Invert.
Activate your Paper37 layer, hit delete. Selections>None.
Apply Xero: Porcelain to your frame. Use settings 50, 128, 128, 0, 0, 0 (Default settings, except blue value is changed to zero).
Copy and paste your tube below your frame layer. Resize as necessary.
Apply Xero: Porcelain to your tube. Use the same settings as for your frame.
Add a drop shadow. (I used -5, -5, 55, 8, black.) Save your progress.
Activate your frame layer, then your magic wand tool (tolerance & feather set to 0), click inside your frame.
Selections>Modify>Expand by 6. Selections>Invert.
Activate your tube layer, hit delete. Selections>None.
Add a drop shadow to your frame. (I used 2, 2, 45, 5, black.) Save your progress.
Open GlitterBits3, rotate all layers 90 degrees to the right, Image>Mirror, copy and paste onto your canvas. (Should be below your tube layer.)
Open Butterfly1, resize 25%, free rotate 41 degrees to the left, copy and paste onto your canvas. Place on bottom right of frame.
Apply Xero: Radiance, Strangeness, Charm, & Truth set to 83, and Beauty set to 225.
Apply Xero: Porcelain, using same settings as before.
Apply drop shadow to your butterfly. I used 2, 2, 45, 2, color #081820.
Duplicate your butterfly. Arrange the new one in the top right color. Save your progress.
Add your name in font of choice. Apply gradient glow (optional) and / or drop shadow.
Add your credits and license number (if applicable).
If you’re not animated, save as .png and you’re done!
To animate your GlitterBits layer –
If you’d like to animate your tag, you will want to save your progress. Open Animation Shop and then go back to PSP.
Activate your GlitterBits layer.
Apply DSB Flux: Bright Noise – Intensity: 45, Direction: Mix.
Edit> Copy Special>Copy Merged
Go to Animation Shop and Edit>Paste>As New Animation (or CTRL+V)
Back in PSP, Edit>Undo (or CTRL+Z)
Reapply Bright Noise, click the Mix button once or twice.
Edit> Copy Special>Copy Merged
Go to Animation Shop and Edit>Paste>After Current Frame (or CTRL+Shift+L)
Back in PSP, Edit>Undo (or CTRL+Z)
Reapply Bright Noise, click the Mix button once or twice.
Go to Animation Shop and Edit>Paste>After Current Frame (or CTRL+Shift+L)
Still in Animation Shop – Edit>Select All (or CTRL+A)
Animation>Frame Properties – Change the display time to 15
View>Animation – You can speed up the “twinkling” by changing the display time to a number lower than 15, or slow it down by using a higher number.
When you are happy with it, save as GIF and you are done.
