No scraps for this one :)
Image of choice – Artwork used in this tutorial is ©Camilla Drakenborg, http://drakenborg.deviantart.com/ To use this work, you must first purchase a license from UYA. I am using an image, you can use a tube if you want. If you use a tube, you will need to have a background of some sort on it.
Filter – Mura’s Filter Meister: Copies (Free)
Xero: Fritillary (Free)
Eye Candy 5 Impact (PTU) OR Eye Candy 3.1 (Free) – Gradient Glow
Font of choice – I used “Aphrodite Pro”

You will need a good working knowledge of PSP to complete this tutorial. This tutorial was written using version X2.
Let’s get started!
Open a new canvas – 500 x 250, transparent.
Open your image. Crop & resize so that it is 250 x 250. Be sure, when resizing, you click “Lock Aspect Ratio” so that you do not distort the image.
Still on your 250 x 250 image – add a new raster layer as your top layer.
Flood fill the new layer with a color of choice from your image. I used #6e5636.
Selections>Select All, then Selections>Modify>Contract by 4. Hit Delete. Selections>Select None.
Right click on either layer and choose Merge>Merge Visible. Then copy & paste it onto your 500 x 250 canvas. Do not close out your 250x250 image with border, we will use it again.
On your 500x250 canvas, free rotate your image by 20 degrees to the left. Move your rotated image to the far left of your canvas.
Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen. Save your progress.
Mura’s Meister Copies with these settings –
Now, go back to your 250x250 image w/ border. Resize it 50%. Copy & paste it onto your canvas. Still, don’t close out the image, we’re gonna use it for our avatar.
Back on your 500x250 canvas, paste the small image once as your top layer and once again as your bottom layer.
On your bottom small image layer, apply Mura’s Meister Copies, using Wallpaper: Rotate. Increase the “Number” setting until the images cover the entire canvas.
On your Mura’s wallpaper layer, Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur: radius 2.
Adjust>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise: Uniform, 50%, Monochrome checked. Save your progress.
Still on that same layer, apply Xero:Fritillary with settings 5, 110, 40, 30.
Now, go to the top layer, with the 125x125 image. Move it to the bottom right corner. Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen. Save.
Add a new raster layer as your top layer. Flood fill it with the same color you used for your image border.
Selections>Select All, then Selections>Modify>Contract by 1. Hit Delete. Selections>Select None.
Add a drop shadow to your small image at the bottom right. I used 5, 5, 55, 5, black.
If you want, add a drop shadow to your large image layer (the one we applies “Throw” to). I used -5, -5, 55, 5, black.
Now, add your copyright info, license # (if applicable), and tagger’s mark (if you use one). Every tag needs copyright info ;) I used a gradient glow to make my copyright info more visible.
Finally, add your name. I used font “Aphrodite Pro”, in the same color you used for your image border. Add a gradient glow to make it more visible.
Add a drop shadow to your name. I used 3, 3, 35, 3, #332715.
Save as .png file and you are done with the tag.
For the avatar -
Go back to your small image with border.
Image>Canvas Size – Enter new dimensions of 150x150 pixels and choose placement to the top left.
Now, add your copyright info / license and your name or initial.
Save as .png and you’re done!
